Plain English, no fine print games. This is how projects run at Villa Creative Studios. Anything you sign for a specific project takes precedence over what is written here.
We do not take deposits. A project is paid in full up front, and the shoot date is scheduled once that payment clears. Until then the day stays open to anyone else who asks for it. It keeps things simple for both sides and means there is never a balance chasing you after delivery.
Shoots inside the greater Houston area are covered in your quote. If a shoot takes us further out, travel is quoted separately and agreed with you before the shoot day. You will never see a travel charge you did not know about in advance.
Life happens. Give us at least 48 hours notice and we will move the shoot to the next available date at no charge, with what you already paid carrying over. Inside 48 hours, the day we held for you is used up and the rescheduled shoot is quoted again. Outdoor shoots called off for weather are always rescheduled at no charge, by either side.
A first cut typically comes back within a week of the shoot. Monthly bundles are delivered on the schedule we agree on at the start of the month, so you always know what is landing and when. If something is going to take longer, you hear it from us before the deadline, not after.
Every video includes one round of revisions. Send your notes together in one pass and we will turn them around quickly. Additional rounds, or changes that alter the direction we agreed on before the shoot, are quoted separately.
We do not hand over raw footage. You are paying for finished work, and the unedited files stay with us. This is not a pricing thing and it is not up for negotiation, it is simply how we operate.
Once a project is paid in full, you can use the delivered content however you want for your own marketing, on any platform, with no time limit. We keep the right to show the work in our portfolio, on our site, and on our social channels. If a project needs to stay private, tell us before we shoot and we will put that in writing.
We only work on content we shoot ourselves. We do not take edit-only jobs on footage from other crews. If editing is all you need, say so and we will point you to someone good rather than waste your time.
